Our History

What started in 1968 as a simple business venture quickly turned into a multi-state family of companies in multiple lines of business. Prior to acquiring a wholesale fuel distributorship and deciding on the name Jones Petroleum back in 1982, the company built an array of grocery stores. Today, Jones Petroleum has over 50 fast food locations and more in the works.

Jones Petroleum Company is a versatile full-line fuel wholesale distributor and retailer, encompassing a diverse portfolio of businesses such as Piggly Wiggly supermarkets, Marathon and Valero convenience stores, and shopping centers. Additionally, we offer retail space rentals and proudly represent renowned fuel brands like BP, Chevron, Marathon, Valero, and Shell.
